No. 111

Guinness in Context: It's a a cliche but that won't stop us from saying it for the rest of our lives - Guinness tastes better here. It's like candy, honest to God it is, and the best one is really the first one you ever order here - not even the complimentary one that comes with the rather disappointing brewery tour in Dublin measures up (above). Couldn't say definitively why it's so much better here but there must be lots of reasons. Maybe it doesn't travel well, maybe they save the best barrels for Irish distribution or maybe it's just that it's destined to taste better inside the walls of an Irish pub that's inside the walls of an old Irish village where you're surrounded by farmers having animated discussions about the latest outbreak of foot and mouth disease. You're probably not getting that kind of flavor at your local Bennigan's.
