Disconnecting: It's difficult anymore to find gaps in cell phone service that last more than a few hours, but we've managed to find a few full days without wireless communication along this route. It's a fun kind of dangerous, because they're also the days when we can drive for an hour without passing another car on the road. What if we break down? What if we need help? What if we don't have to take any more calls from weirdos who want to buy our stuff on Craigslist.
